Wilma A. Boyd, 97, of Odon, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.
Born June 16, 1915 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Oscar and Mary Florence (Lynn) Tibbett.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Odon Christian Church. She was also a member of the Odon Rebecca Lodge and the Odon Town and Village Club.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Linda L. Cullison (Bob) and Marilyn Laughlin all of Odon; one son, Howard E. Boyd (Leona) of Odon; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Mike" Boyd on April 30, 1990, one son, Wayne Lynn Boyd, brothers, Fred and Lee Tibbett, one sister, Pearl Tibbett, two great grandchildren and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
