William L. "Bill" Wright, 79, of Bloomfield passed away at 5:26 P.M. on Friday September 19, 2008 at the Bloomington Hospital.
Born October 13, 1928 in Bloomfield he was the son of Fredrick Olaf and Verna (Hill) Wright.
Bill was the owner and operator of Wrights Sunoco and bulk plant in Bloomfield. He was a member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge # 84, the Terre Haute Scottish Rite and Shrine Club. He was a member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church and attended the Antioch Christian Church in Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives include his wife Phyllis Wright of Bloomfield. Three Children Sue Lavender (Bill) of Bloomington, Dan Wright (Connie) of Bloomfield, and Carol Miller (Matt) of Bloomfield. Three grandchildren Clint Wright, Fred Wright, and Regan Miller all of Bloomfield. One sister Jean Resler of Bloomfield.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Monday September 22, 2008 and 1 hour prior to services Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Bloomfield Masonic Lodge will have a Masonic Service at 6:00 P.M. on Monday night.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday September 23, 2008 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev Arlen Pope, and Rev Henry MannJr., and Jack Bucher officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
In Lieu of Flowers the family wishes all donations be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the Antioch Christian Church.
