William M. (Kenny) Gholson, 82 , of Bloomfield, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at Garden Villa of Bloomington.

Born September 6, 1934 in Greene County to William P. and Wilma (Pearson) Gholson.

William worked in construction and served his country in of the United States Army.

Surviving relatives include: two sons, Jeff Norman and Jason Gholson; two brothers, Jack & Jerry Gholson both of Bloomfield; three sisters, Nina Hauersperger of North Vernon, Heilda Bailey of Jackson, Tennessee and Shirley Bailey of Henderson, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Larry J. Gholson, two nephews, Mike Bailey and David Alan Gholson and his parents.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
