Obituary

Wilburn Frederick "Ted" McIntosh, lifetime resident of Bloomfield, Indiana died at home April 4, 2023. Ted as he was known by his family was 95 years old.

He was preceded in death by his father, Webster and mother Luna (Bland) McIntosh, his grandson Clint McIntosh, brothers, Weldon, Clyde and Wayne McIntosh, sister, Eva M. McIntosh and several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Wilma Jean (Shonk) McIntosh; one son, Gregory (Jana) McIntosh; granddaughter, Kasie (Jared) Helms; great grandchildren, Sydney McIntosh, Owsley McIntosh, Emma Brinson, Cora Brinson, Zeke Brinson, Addis Helms and Iva Helms.

Ted was a sergeant in the Army and served during World War II in Iceland. He worked at Bloomfield Silo, sand and gravel plant with his dad and his brothers. He retired from NSWC Crane where he was a truck and taxi driver. He was a lifetime member of the Tulip Church of God where he served as deacon and trustee. He was an avid coon hunter and loved the outdoors, he loved to fish and hunt.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Tulip Church of God in rural Bloomfield, with Jeff Rockey officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at Tulip Church of God.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Tulip Church of God.
