Wesley "Allen" Smith, 55, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday February 18, 2025 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.
Born May 1, 1969 in Plant City, Florida the son of Paul Wesley Smith and Linda Lou (Sparks) Karg.
Allen worked as an Operator, he was an electrician; he was a member of the Bloomfield SAL Post # 196, he also was a member Elnora outdoor club for 20 plus years, martin county coon club, PKC UKC, Shelburne coon club, Dogwood coonhunters club. Allen was a champion for the county with his coon dogs, he made it to state went to Alabama for the hunt. Allen went to Autumn Oaks every year. Allen loved to coon hunt, mushroom hunt, deer hunt, and rabbit hunt. Anything outside, he was doing it. Allen had a smile that would light up a room. He especially loved his kids, wife, and grandkids. Allen would even give his shirt off his own back to anybody in need. If you couldn't find Allen, he was either in the woods hunting or driving down the back roads. No matter who it was, he would do anything to help. Allen touched many lives in many communities.
Surviving relatives include his children, Autumn (Logan) MayDawn Smith, Andrew Lee Hunter Smith, Haley Marie (Nick) Turner, Abbigail Britenee Smith, his grandchild, Braylee Sno White, his wife RaeAnn MayDawn Feutz, his mother, Linda Karg, his mother-in-law, Renee (Lee) Young, father-in-law, Ray (Ladonna) Feutz, special family the Kruger's, one uncle Stanley Smith and several cousins, he was a uncle.
Allen was preceded in death by a daughter, Britnee Smith, sister, Maxine Smith, his dad, Paul Wesley Smith and a cousin Teresa Smith.
Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Monday February 24, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
The family would like any memorial donations in Allen's name be given to Jenkins Funeral Home.
