Wayne Aaron Lich 92, of Lyons, passed away at his residence on Friday, July 17, 2020.

Born September 15, 1927 in Madison, Nebraska, he was the son of Henry and Kate (Graves) Lich.

He was a welder and Mechanic. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Lyons and belonged to the Midwest Operating Engineers Union.

Surviving relatives include: his daughters, Jane Pound (Dean) and Lois Ramme (Dale); his sons, James Lich (Ginger), Douglas Lich (Debby) and Henry Lich; brother, Alvin Lich (Mary); brother-in-law, Mert Sassaman (Norma); a sister-in-law, Sandy Sassaman; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, six great, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorna Rae Lich on October 15, 1997, his parents, Henry and Kate, and his siblings, Ervin, Chet, Eugene, Harold, Beulah, and Della.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons, with Rev. Gerald DeVore officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.

Public visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Masks (Face Coverings) will be required for entry.
