Obituary

Virginia Kay Titus, 65, of Bloomfield passed away at 10:37 A.M. Sunday May 17, 2009 at St. Vincent Seton Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born August 16, 1943 in Greene County she was the daughter of Herbert and Ethel (Foster) Bedwell.
Virginia was retired from crane where she worked as a payroll clerk. She was the Past Matron of the Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star # 538, Past Guardian of Bethel # 72 Jobs Daughters, Greene County Historical Society, Mary Rebekah Lodge, Better Homes Homemakers Club and NARFE.
Surviving relatives include two daughters Melisa Marie Blackwell of Omaha, Nebraska and Carol Yvonne Titus of Indianapolis, Indiana. Two grandsons Chip and Matthew Miller both of California. One brother Ray Bedwell of Monterrey, Mexico.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband David Thomas Titus on November 26, 2002. Two sisters Jeannette Tincher and Martha Jean Whitehead, and her parents.
Friends may call from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of service Saturday May 23, 2009 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday May 23, 2009 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. James O. Titus officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield. The Eastern Star will do a memorial service with the Jobs Daughters closing the service on Saturday.
The family wishes all donations be made to the Grand Bethel Scholarship Fund in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
