Viletta Louisa Noel, 75, of Worthington, passed away at 8:04 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born December 10, 1940 in Linton, she was the daughter of Loren and Lillian Maxine (Gabbard) Bowersock.

she was a production assembler at Cook, Inc. in Bloomington and was a member of the Shelburn Wesleyan Church.

Surviving relatives include: her husband, John Robert (Bob) Noel, Sr. of Worthington; his children, Yyvonne Clevenger (Walter) of Worthington, Rosetta Lynn Williams of Bedford, Paul Edward Noel (Veronica) of Taiwan, Rosella Burris (Victor) of Jasonville, Fleta Noel of Victoria, Texas, Jimmy Noel (Billie) of Carthage, Illinois and Scott Noel of Worthington; three sisters, Mary Clark of Jasonville, Hila Miller of Linton and Nila Frye of Bloomfield; two brothers, Daniel Bowersock of Linton and Lawrence Bowersock of Worthington; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Noel, Jr., two sisters, Lavenia Bowersock and Lola Burdett, one brother, Jacob Bowersock and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Shelburn Wesleyan Church, 11 State Street Shelburn, Indiana 47879, with Rev. John Moffatt officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the church.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Shelburn Wesleyan Church.
