Vickie Sue Thomas 66, of Springville, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born October 7, 1951 in Bedford, she was the daughter of William Leo and Adelene (Roberts) Parsley.

She retired from General Electric in Bloomington, Indiana.

Surviving relatives include: her daughter, Gina Henderson (Patrick) of Owensburg; grandsons, Jacob and Joseph Henderson; her mother, Adelene Parsley of Owensburg; and a brother, Bill Parsley (Diana) of Owensburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana "Pete" Thomas on January 18, 2017 and her father, William Leo Parsley.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Dennis Parsley officiating. Interment will follow in Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the White River Humane Society.
