Velva Todd, 84, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday April 15, 2015 at her residence.

Born July 1, 1930 in Greene County, Indiana, the daughter of Kelcie and Anna (Fisher) George.

Velva worked as a janitor at the Greene County Jail and the Court House.

Surviving relatives include her children, Brenda Hudson of Linton and Carol Strodtman of Bloomfield, she has one granddaughter, Angie Speer, two great grandchildren, Kelsie Speeer and Cheyann Speer, one sister Mary Lafoon all of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Hudson, second husband Kenneth D. Todd, one son, David Hudson, her siblings, Josephine George, Bud George, Dick George, Berniece Dailey, Beulah Bailey and her parents.

Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. on Saturday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Brother Jerry Gholson officiating. Burial will follow at Flynn Cemetery.
