Veeda Irene Buhneing's Obituary
Veeda Irene Buhneing, 88, of Bloomfield passed away Friday January 10, 2025 the Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born October 31, 1936 in Monroe County, Kentucky the daughter of Johnnie and Mattie Ellen (Thurman) Hale.
Veeda retired from RCA after 21 years, and worked for High Grade Meat Company for 17 years. Veeda's passion was painting, she also loved to quilt and was a believer in God.
Surviving relatives include her son Chris Buhneing (Connie), twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren two sisters, Rachel Thornton and Eva Thornton, also several nieces and nephews.
Veeda was preceded in death by her husband Lowell T. Buhneing in 1972, two daughters and two sons.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Veeda's name.
