Timothy Jay Helms, 46, of Switz City, passed away 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born April 27, 1962 in Greene County, he was the son of Bobby Arthur and Janet (Vandeventer) Helms.
He was a repair contractor for Distinctive Homes, Inc. in Solsberry and a member of God's church.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Lisa (Earle) Helms whom he married in 1983; two sons, Jason & Justin Helms both of Switz City; one stepson, Ryan Miller of Switz City; his parents,Bobby Arthur and Janet (Vandeventer) Helms of Switz City; one sister, Angela Mowery of Indianapolis; two brothers, Bradley Helms of Plainfield and Barry Helms of Switz City; and one grandson, Kaden Helms.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Bill Beckelheimer officiating. Interment will be in Hash cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
