Terry Wayne Veatch, of Owensburg Indiana passed away surrounded by his family on January 8, 2025. He was born December 10, 1953 to Bernard and Betty Veatch. Terry graduated from Bloomfield High School where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Margaret (Wright) Veatch. They were married for 53 years.

Terry served in the Army and later was active in the Indiana National Guard. He worked many years at NSWC Crane and other government agencies. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, raising redbone hounds and fishing. He and Margaret also raised and showed Appaloosa horses. After his retirement, Terry started raising registered Angus cattle. He loved his family and spoiled his grandchildren every chance he could.

His surviving relatives include: His wife, Margaret E. Veatch, his brother Michael Veatch, his daughter Hannah (Bryan) Stephens, His sons Brandon (Melissa) Veatch, Trevor (Lindsay) Veatch, his granddaughters Elaine Veatch and Timber Falin, his grandsons, Garrett Soliday, Devon (Abby) Veatch, Hunter Falin, Jacob Veatch, Glenn Veatch and Carter Purkhiser.

He was preceded in death by his father Bernard Veatch, his mother Betty Veatch, his sister Sherry Veatch.

Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday January 16, 2025 at the Bloomfield First Christian Church.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at the First Christian Church with Scott Chastain officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made in Terry's name to the Bloomfield First Christian Church.
