Terrence R. McIntyre, 79, of Bloomfield, passed away at 6:53 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born August 14, 1935 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Herschel and Blanche (Allen) McIntyre.

He was a graduate of Bloomfield High School class of 1953 and a member of the American Legion Post 196 in Bloomfield. Terry was a serviceman for Public Service of Indiana. He served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Charlotte A. (Burgess) Crowe McIntyre of Bloomfield; two sons, Ronald H. McIntyre and Michael K. McIntyre both of Terre Haute; one sister, Eugenia Smith of Plainfield; his grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Kayla and Braxton; two great grandchildren, Chase and Aubrey; his step children, Debbie Shonk (Mike), Steve Crowe (Janet), Mike Crowe, Jeff Crowe and Jane Jones (Drew); step grandchildren, Greg, Hilary, David, Stephanie, Travis, Justin, Joni, Jenna, Allie and Will; and thirteen step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes (Williams) McIntyre, one son, Terrence Brian McIntyre, brother, Ted McIntyre, one sister, Marcia Minks, a step great grandson, Lucas Stephenson and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
