Obituary

Teresa Lynn Parr, 71, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday December 7, 2024 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born August 13, 1953 in Linton, Indiana the daughter of Paul and Norma Pauline (Flory) Halderman.

Teresa was retired from payroll at Crane. She was a member of the Mineral Methodist Church and Mineral Methodist Women, where she was a faithful believer in Christ. She instilled the importance of love and tradition in her family. Teresa's main focuses in life were her children, grandchildren, lifelong amazing friends, and Mineral Church.

Surviving relatives include her two children, Nikki Abrams and Kristi (Adam) Vandeventer, her grandchildren, Ciera (Tythan) Turpin, Jaden (Cora Brinson) Abrams, Brynn (Tyler Fiscus) Vandeventer, Lauryn Vandeventer, Lynlie Vandeventer, a great grandchild, Baby Turpin, due in April, one brother Ed (Kay) Halderman, several nieces and nephews, and two stepchildren, Ethan (Jennifer) Parr and Erin (Dan) Moore.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Rich Parr, sisters Carolyn and Phyllis, father of her children, Denny Williams, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at the Mineral Methodist Church located at 3175 East Mineral/Koleen Road, Bloomfield from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery.

The family asks that any memorial donations in Teresa's name be given to Mineral Methodist Church or IU Health Hospice House.
