Ted Allen Ray, 66, of Linton passed away at 4:30 P.M. Saturday May 24, 2008 at his residence.
Born June 30, 1941 in Bloomfield he was the son of Ward & Dorothy (Mattox) Ray.
Ted was a farmer and a Mechanic. He had also worked at Haskett Auto Shop in Switz City, Indiana.
Surviving relatives include his wife Linda (Bishop) Ray of Linton, Indiana. His children Annette Baker and husband Lee Jr. of Bloomfield, Indiana. Mark Ray and his wife Crystal of Switz City, Indiana. Alison Whipkey and husband Michael of Kennsburg, Illinois. Matthew Ray and wife Amanda of Terre Haute, Indiana. Grandchildren Miranda Dawn Baker, Justin Lee Baker, Cheyenne Whipkey, & Michael Whipkey. 1 sister Nina Spohr of New Market, Indiana.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law David Spohr.
Friends may call 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday May 28, 2008 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, and 1 P.M. till the hour at the church.
Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday May 29, 2008 at Bethany Christian Church (Plummer Community) Bloomfield with Rev. Sherrel Page and Dr. Michael Frances. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons, Indiana.
