Suzanne Oliver's Obituary
Suzanne (West) Oliver, 82, of West Island, died at home on December 22, 2023.
She was born October 26, 1941 in Greene County, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Sharp) West.
Suzanne retired from CRANE. She enjoyed hunting morel mushrooms, fishing, collecting Indian rocks, watching IU basketball and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Oliver; her parents, John and Dorothy West; her four brothers, John "Jim" West, Milton "Bud" West, David West and a brother in infancy; her sister, Sarah "Sally" Skidmore; and her son-in-law, Randy Smith.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Hensley and Teressa Smith; her son, Tim Hensley; her daughter-in-law, Kim Hensley; her grandchildren, Eli (Natasha) Eccles, Ross Smith, Ginny (Thad) Taylor, Diana (Cody) Comeaux, Darah Siegler, Britt Hensley, Lucas (Carrie) Hensley and Logan Hensley; her sister, Karen McCombs; as well as many great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in rural Lyons.
