Susan Charlene English, 61, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her residence in Bloomfield.

Born June 24, 1960 in Linton, she was the daughter of Charles Robert and Mary Ellen (Holtsclaw) English.

She was a member of Ridgeport Community Church.

Surviving relatives include: her parents, Charles and Mary English of Bloomfield; one sister, Patricia English-Kornegay of Bloomfield; a niece, Amanda Staggs (Seth) of Bloomfield and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Karl and Mary English, her maternal grandparents, Willard and Marie Holtsclaw, one aunt, Margaret English and an uncle, Fred English.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Don English officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgeport Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society.
