Steven Ray Haywood, 49, of Mineral City passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 25, 2010 surrounded by his family.
He was born April 18, 1960 in Washington, In. He retired in 2005 from Weddle Brothers after working 30 years in construction. He had been employed by J.L. Wilson, Neidigh Brothers and various construction companies. He was a member of the Laborers Union Local # 741.
He was a beloved son who brought his family great joy. God has gained an awesome angel.
He is survived by his parents Gilbert and Phyllis Haywood, sister Dee Haywood, brothers Matt Haywood and Joe Haywood.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday March 30, 2010 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
