Sherry Rae Evans, 68, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
Born August 14, 1956 in Washington, Indiana, she was the daughter of David Martin and Nancy Ellen (Babb) Souerdike.
Sherry worked as an accountant/Bookkeeper for Bill Dobson Ford in Washington, IN and Rippy Cadillac in Wilmington, NC.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Wayne Evans whom she married on May 26, 1983; one daughter, Erin Hasler (Travis); her grandchildren, Michael Lee Hasler II and Madison Bettie Hasler; her nieces and nephews, Waylon Souerdike, Kelli Floyd (James), Ryan Souerdike and Josey Souerdike.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Osborne, siblings, Randy Souerdike, Scott Souerdike and Debbie Fields, a niece, Candice Souerdike and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.
Public visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
