Sarah LeeAnn Thacker, 36, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, May 15th, 2021. She leaves behind her husband, Justin Thacker, and two children, Isaac Anderson and Paetynn Thacker, all of Bloomfield, IN; her mother, Brenda Porter of Bloomfield, IN; two brothers, Rob (Mandy) Richardson of Bedford, IN; Benjamin (Kristina) Richardson of Bloomfield, IN; two sisters, Becky (Jason) Hoene of Bloomfield, IN; Samantha (Carry) Cassidy of Bloomington, IN; Bob Richardson of Bloomfield, IN, who was like a second father to her. She was preceded in death by her father, Darold Drake; a great niece, Azra Knight; and maternal grandparents, Emery and Barbara Porter.

Sarah had a heart of gold. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, whom she loved unconditionally. She especially cherished long summer days in the pool with her daughter, Paetynn, and her nephews Mathew and Ashyr. She dearly loved her son Isaac and he meant the world to her. They loved shooting BB guns together in the back yard.

Sarah was passionate about being an organ donor. She would be happy to see the lives that were saved and made better because of her selfless gift. She was a jewel in this world. She is irreplaceable and will be forever missed by her family and friends. Her smile lit up a room and her laughter was contagious. She will always be her momma's princess. There is comfort in knowing that Sarah has made it safely home and met her Lord and Savior face to face.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, IN with Curt Porter and Lisa Rambo officiating. Interment will follow in Newark Cemetery, Newark, IN. Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
