Sandra Tidwell, 65, of Indianapolis passed away January 6, 2022 at her residence.

Sandy was born February 21, 1956 in Linton, the daughter of Gene and Gayle (Horn) Tidwell.

She graduated from the Indiana University School of Journalism, and was a writer and editor for Trap & Field magazine for over forty years. In her reporting, she always strived for good grammar, perfect spelling and most importantly, accuracy. She enjoyed covering various trapshooting events and frequently extended her work trips to see the natural beauty of the western states.

Surviving are her brother Tom (Jan) Tidwell of Fort Wayne, IN, two nephews, a niece, five grandnephews/nieces, several cousins, special friend Jeannie Hermerding and her cat.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services are planned at this time. She will be interred close to her parents in Grandview Cemetery.
