Russell Duane Cook, 68, of Bloomington passed away Tuesday May 10, 2011 at his residence in Bloomington.
Born May 10, 1943 and raised in Bloomfield, Indiana the son of Max Troy Cook and Mina Louise (Kindred) Cook.
Russell worked as the Director of Contracts at NSWC Crane, he retired in 2005 after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington and formerly Allen Chapel Church in Bloomfield.
Russell is survived by his wife Nancy E. Cook of Bloomington, one daughter Kimberly J. Bacon of Greenwood, one son Jonathan R. and wife Julia Cook of Bloomington, two brothers; Cletus Cook and Kenneth Cook both of Ellettsville and four grandchildren; Benjamin Bacon, Kimberly Cook, Allyson Cook and Madison Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday and 1 Hour prior to services Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 15, 2011 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with J.D. Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
