Rosella May Welch, 98, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday July 1, 2025.

Born February 19, 1927 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana the daughter of Roy and Alta May (Gugel) Glardon.

Rosella was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Linton; Rosella was an avid reader, she loved to quilt, do crafts, bake, and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include her six children, Luther Welch, Jr., Charles Welch, David Welch, Alta Welch, Bruce Welch, Jerry Welch, twenty-five grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren and a nephew, Michael Garrett and family.

Rosella was preceded in death by her husband Luther Welch, Sr., two children, Donald Welch, Verna Marie Summerville, her three siblings, Loretta, Lavern, George "Bud" and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 7, 2025 from 4 to 8 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, and 12:30 until the hour of service on Tuesday at the Church.

Services will be held at 1:30 on Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ oof Latter-Day Saints Church in Linton with Bishop Mike Drysdale officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
