Ronald W. Ramsey's Obituary
Ronald W. Ramsey, 79, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.
Born January 31, 1941 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Paul C. and Pearl Maxine (Blaker) Ramsey.
He retired from Westinghouse/ABB and was an Elder at the Christian Tabernacle Church in Bloomington.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Robin Miles (Jim) of Bloomfield and Rhonda Reed of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Cody Ramsey, Cory Ramsey, Tate Oakley, Portia Snoddy and Brianna Reed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ramsey on March 31, 2018, one son, Jeff Ramsey, a brother, Larry Ramsey and his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield. Due to Covid-19 protocol, there will be a limit of 25 people allowed at the service, masks and social distancing will also be practiced. Jenkins Funeral home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society.
