Roger D. Davis, 55, of Bloomfield passed away at 4:11 A.M. Sunday August 13, 2006 at IU Med Center in Indianapolis.
Born November 7, 1950 at Freeman Greene County Hospital in Linton Indiana he was the son of Edward B. & Vera Louis (Jones) Davis.
He was the CEO & General Manager of REMC. He was a member of the Linton First Christian Church, Bloomfield Rotary, Diamond Member of the NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation), Affiliated with Hoosier Energy & Indiana State Wide. He was the Past president of the Greene County Economic Development board. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War.
Surviving relatives include his wife Tami D. (VanDeventer) Davis of Bloomfield. 5 sons Shaun Davis of Bloomington, John & Wife Kim Davis, David, Matthew, Jonathan Burkett all of Bloomfield. 1 Grandson Trey Edward Davis of Bloomfield. 1 Sister Debbie & Husband Danny Martindale of Bloomfield. 1 Brother Bryan & wife Sue Davis of Bloomfield. His Parents Edward B. & Vera Louis (Jones) Davis of Bloomfield. Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews.
Preceded in death by his paternal & Maternal Grandparents.
Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M. Wednesday August 16, 2006 AT THE CINCINNATI CHRISTIAN CHURCH and 12:30 P.M. till AT THE CHURCH Thursday.
Funeral Services will be 1:30 P.M. Thursday August 17, 2006 at the Cincinnati Christian Church with the Rev's Glen Stidd, Henry Mann Jr, & Warren Shake officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield. The Family wishes all donations go to the Roger D.
