Roger Arthur, 85, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday May 30, 2026 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel, Indiana.

Born September 19, 1940 in Springville, Indiana the son of Pikey and Nora Elane (Fulk) Arthur.

Roger was retired from RCA; he was a 50-year member of the Solsberry Masonic Lodge # 411, Solsberry Community Church, and he loved to fish, hunt squirrels and mushroom hunting.

Surviving relatives include his two children, Roger L. (Renee) Arthur, Lisa (John) Abel, his companion Ruth Logerman, his grandchildren, Sabrina Spurlin, Terence Arthur, Kayla (Patrick) York, Emilee Arthur, Jackie Lee Arthur, Dusty Dawn Tedrow, Ashley Meek, he has several greatgrandchildren, great-great grandchildren, two sibling, Timmothy Arthur, Ricky Arthur, three Grandsons-in-law, Bill Spurlin, Shawn Mendenhall and Patrick York and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Sue "Ma" Arthur, one grandson, Jeremy Arthur, one granddaughter, Nikkie Ryan, two great grandchildren, Terrence Eugene Arthur, Jr., Mary Margaret Arthur and four siblings.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday June 3, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Masonic services by Solsberry Masonic Lodge # 411 at 6:00 P.M.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Solsberry Community Church with Rev. Matt Whitacre officiating, friends may call from 12 Noon until the hour of service at the Church. Burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
