Robert P. Thompson Ii's Obituary
Robert P. Thompson II, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born June 15, 1943 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert P. Sr. and Mary L. (Wake) Thompson.
Robert was a heavy equipment operator and served his country in the United States Navy.
Surviving relatives include: his children, Mary Beth Troxal (Keith), Larry E. Thompson and Christy Thompson; his grandchildren, Brandy Vest (Jeremy), Cody English, Derek Thompson (D'lee), Casey Gellenbeck (Joe), Carrie Patterson (Derrik), Dustin Thompson, Ashley Hammett (Eric), Trevor Thompson (Courtney) and Kendra McNeal (Logan); and fifteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Thompson III and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Scotland cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
