Robert "Bob" Parsley, 94, of Owensburg, Indiana passed away Tuesday January 28, 2025 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born June 28, 1930 in Owensburg, Indiana the son of James Ernest Parsley and Mary (Jackson) Parsley.

Bob was a Heavy Equipment operator at Crane, he was retired; he was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, a life member of the Owensburg Baptist Church, and a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Surviving relatives include his two children, Sheryl (Kevin) Myers, Rob Parsley, his grandchildren, Laura (Jim) Gossman, Andrew (Fawna) Myers, Tim Myers, his great grandchildren, Paige Gossman, Jackson Gossman, Jase Gossman, Gracie Mullis, Isaac Mullis, Tyler Mullis and one brother, Herman (Betty) Parsley.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 65 ½ years, Laura Mae Parsley on May 14, 2022; six brothers, Johnnie, James, Orville, Elmer, Charles and Raymond Parsley; four sisters, Ona Rollins, Naomi Parsley, Mary "Betty" Horn, Ermal Parsley and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Monday February 3, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at the Owensburg Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Collins officiating. Burial will follow at Owensburg Cemetery.
