Robert Stewart Milligan III, 57, of Lyons, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born October 3, 1964 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert Stewart Milligan II and Janet Cynthia (Whiteford) Resler.

Robert worked in construction and was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Surviving relatives include: his daughters, Lyndsey Simmons (Derrick), Lasey Heuby (Coy), Lydia Long (William) and Logan Milligan (Courtney); one sister, Teresa Chambers (Leonard); his grandchildren, Shaeleigh Simmons, Bentley Simmons, Skylin Heuby, Reagan Long, Zander Mann and Cayden Landis; nieces and nephews, James Gardner, Justine Gardner, Miranda Hert and Alex Chambers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Resler, Stepfather, Robert Puckett and grandmother, Kathryn Williams.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons. Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons is in charge of arrangements.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
