Robert Charles Metzger, Jr; 67, of Solsberry passed away Saturday April 1, 2023 at his residence.

Born June 12, 1955 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Robert Charles Metzger, Sr, and Sandra J. (Dible) Metzger.

Robert was a Forman for Amtrak Rail Road, he was very mechanically inclined. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Bloomfield American Legion.

Surviving relatives include his wife Laura Metzger, his three children, Robert (Erika) Metzger III, Nikki Mucci, Jeffrey (Ashley) Metzger; his grandchildren, Paxton Metzger, Drake Mucci, Reece Mucci, Carter Mucci, Victor Metzger, Everley Metzger; his two brothers, David (Donna) Metzger, Gerald (Jane) Metzger, his parents, Robert Mtezger Sr; Sandra J Metzger and a niece, Sandy (Biff) Kinnick.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 P.M. on Tuesday April 4, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, a private family graveside service will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Robert's name be given to the Bloomfield American Legion.
