Robert S. Kirk, 90, of Bloomfield passed away Friday April 25, 2025 at his residence.

Born October 6, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of George and Theresa (Moreland) Kirk.

Bob was retired from the Indiana State Police after 33 years and Crane after 21 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran where he served as a Hospital Corpsman, he was a member of the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church, 60-year member of the Bloomfield Masonic Lodge # 84 and the Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196.

Surviving relatives include his wife Nancy Ann Kirk, two daughters, Dawn Rabon, Desiree (Sheldon) Hay, two grandchildren, Taylor Reynolds, Jordon Cannon and four great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by one son, Rob Kirk, four brothers, one sister and his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday May 2, 2025 at the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church with State Police Chaplin Dick Smith and Pastor Hana officiating, friends and family may gather from 1 to 2 P.M. at the Church.

In lieu of flowers the family ask any memorial donations be given to the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church in Bob's name.

Burial will be private.
