Robert "Boogie" Frye, 63, of Bloomfield Passed away at 9:52 A.M. on Tuesday September 23, 2008 at Home.
Born December 12, 1944 at the old Freeman Hospital in Linton he was the son of Clayton W. "Screwdriver" & Mildred (Minks) Frye.
Boogie was retired from GE in Linton as a Machine Operator. He was currently working at Baxter's. He was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church and he loved racing.
Surviving relatives include his wife Connie I. Frye of Bloomfield. Four Children Robert Troy Frye of Bloomfield, Kylee Nicole Frye of Bloomfield, Jackie Vest (Shawn) of Solsberry, and Chris Hudson (Erica) of Solsberry. Ten grandchildren Heath Ison, Tyralee Nicole Frye, Kyra Irene Frye, Dylan Frye, Kaitlynn Hudson, Garrett Vest, Emily Hudson, Jaylen Bry Mullen, Kylyn Gwengale Harper, William Christopher Hudson. One great granddaughter Skylan Ison. Two brothers Donald Wayne Frye Sr. of Solsberry and Larry Joe Frye of Bloomfield. One sister Linda Alsman of Linton and several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Gerald Eugene Frye, and one sister Nina Pearl Pentecost.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 P.M. on Friday September 26, 2008 and 10 A.M. until the hour on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday September 27, 2008 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Interment will be at Ridgeport Cemetery in Bloomfield.
