Obituary

Robert Cain "Bob" Yoho, 88, of Bloomfield, passed away 2:14 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born August 27, 1923 in Solsberry, he was the son of Wayne and Gertie (Sherrow) Yoho.
Bob was a supervisor in ordinance at NSWC Crane, retiring in 1985 after 32 years of service. He was a member of Faith Christian Church, Past President of the Bloomfield Town Board, Past Master of the Solsberry Masonic Lodge, Charter member of the Solsberry American Legion, Charter member of the Terre Haute Scottish Rite, Past President of the Bloomfield Little League and the Bloomfield Lyons Club. He served his country with the United States Army in World War II.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Robert Scott Yoho (Shelli) of Bloomfield; daughter-in-law, Nellie R. Yoho (David R. Stille) of Bloomington; granddaughters, Charissa Lynne of Bloomfield, Kristina Lynn of Kaiserslautern, Germany and Kimberly Lyn of Orlando, Florida; two brothers, Walter Yoho (Vicki) and Jim Yoho (Joy) both of Bloomfield; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Yoho of Bloomfield and Betty Fisher of Hollywood, Florida; brother-in-law, Bill Thacker of Solsberry; and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances L. Yoho on October 18, 2010, one son, Toby C. Yoho, sisters, Pearl Rollins, Joan Thacker and Carol Sims, one brother, Glen Yoho and his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Interment will follow in Solsberry cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday at Faith Christian Church in Bloomfield. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
