Robert P. Aitchison "Box Car Bob / Sailor Bob", 79, of Bloomfield passed away Friday October 3, 2025 at his residence.
Bob was born on February 14, 1946 in Boston, Massachusetts the son of Thomas and Agnes (Smith) Aitchison.
Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran, he worked for Civil Service at Crane and bartended at Aggies and the Spot, Bob was a member of the Worthington American Legion Post # 106, the Crane VFW and formerly the Boston Masonic Lodge.
Bob is survived by many close friends.
A Celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday October 25, 2025 with Military Honors at 1:00 P.M. and Celebration of Life to follow at the Worthington American Legion.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to help with final expenses.
