Rhea Dawn Waldridge, 80, of Springville passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020 at her residence.

Born September 24, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Harry F. and Emily Nina (Stultz) Chesnut.

Rhea was retired from the state of Indiana where she did job placement, she was over 50-year member of the Eastern Star, a member of the Owensburg Baptist Church and loved IU basketball and Kentucky basketball.

Surviving relatives include her husband of 62 years, Jerry Waldridge, three daughters, Risa (David) Riggs, Janette (Sam Vitatoe) Vaughn, Sherry Waldridge, she has four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister, Beverly Spoonmore and several nieces and nephews.

Rhea was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Dale Spoonmore and her parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, masks are required in the building due to the Covid 19.

A graveside service will be held for the public at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Owensburg Cemetery with Pastor Kerry Asher officiating, the Eastern Star will have a service at the cemetery on Saturday.
