Raymond (Scott) Burnette, 57, of Worthington, Indiana passed away Thursday morning, May 23, 2024
Born in Bedford, Indiana on March 1, 1967, he was the son of Raymond and Leona Burnette.
Scott is a U.S. Army veteran, his trade was roofing and building homes. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing and mushroom hunting, he also loved his gambling. He was a member of the American Legion Post #106 of Worthington and was an ordained minister.
Surviving relatives include: his significant other of 20 years, Crystal Riffel of Bloomfield, his daughters, Jessica Brown, and Jazzy Jones. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lucas and Aubrey Totten and Peyton Jones.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother (Leona), brother (Jim) and grandparents (Burnette).
No public visitation will be held.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Worthington Cemetery with Chad Taylor officiating.
The family asked that any memorial donations be made to Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
