Ralph W. Casner, 89, of Linton, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Greene County General Hospital.

Born November 26, 1934 in Solsberry, he was the son of Wilbur and Lucille (Sims) Casner.

Ralph was a Punch Press Operator for Westinghouse, ABB in Bloomington retiring in 1994 after 29 years of service.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Ethel (Manis) Casner, whom he married August 30, 2000; two sons, Morgan Casner of Terre Haute and Monty Casner (Missy) of Seymour; one sister, Jessie M. Mahaffey of Bloomington; his grandchildren, LeeAnna Harris (Jordan), Daniel Casner and Macy Casner; two great grandchildren, Nichola Harris and Elizabeth Harris; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Newark Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Monday and 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Greene County Humane Society in Ralph's name.
