Phyllis Jean Todd, 84 of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Greenfield Healthcare.

Born January 15, 1941 in Worthington, Indiana, she was the daughter of Wallace Orville and Leah Belle (Fuller) Heaton.

She was co-owner of Hoosier Insurance in Bloomfield with her husband Jim. She was a member of the Bloomfield United Methodist Church and the Bloomfield Mother's Club.

Surviving relatives include: three sons, Doug Todd (Tina), Danny Todd (Kim) and Dusty Todd (Heather); her grandchildren, Alley Todd, Mitch Todd (April), Bryson Smith (Riley), Trent Todd (Rachel) and Jared Myers (Averi).

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Todd on December 6, 2005, one sister, Beverly Doane, two brothers, Jay and Ronald Heaton and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday and 1 hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
