Phyllis J. Carmicheal, 74,of Bloomfield passed away at 12:47 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2006 at Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington.
Born November 8, 1931 in Greene County, Indiana she was the daughter of Herschel and Virginia (Kern) Hollingsworth.
She was a Stanley Home Products Sales Representative for 40 years, retired. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lyons, Do Betters Club (Home Extension), Royal Neighbors of America. She was also a member of the Marco Methodist Church in Marco Indiana.
Surviving relatives include: her husband Wayne Carmicheal of Bloomfield, Indiana; children Jane (Jim) Dunn of Glasford, Illinois, Deborah (Ruhlin) Gregory of Washington, Illinois, and Daniel (Judy) Carmicheal of Lovington, Illinois; 7 grandchildren, Nicole (Matt) Staley of Trivoli, Illinois, Jarrod (Haylie) Holmes of Lafayette, Indiana, Danelle Holmes of Pekin, Illinois, Doug (Amy) Gregory of Yates City, Illinois, Kristy (Steve) Pierson of Bartonville, Illinois, Angelia (Dale) Johnson of Trivoli, Illinois and Jim (Norma) Dunn of Pekin, Illinois. 9 great grandchildren; 5 sisters Cora Alice Underwood, Margert (Rex) Camden, Carolyn (Merle) Helderman, Beverly Taylor and Linda (Ed) Secrest; 2 brothers Carl (Sue) Hollingsworth and Dave (Paula) Hollingsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 grandchildren and 2 brothers.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday September 7, 2006 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Indiana.
Services will be at 2 p.m. (Illinois Time) September 8, 2006 at Davison Fulton Funeral Chapel 2021 N. University Street, Peoria Illinois. Friends may call from 1p.m. until the hour of service in Peoria.
