Obituary

Paul Everett Casner, 94, formerly of rural Bloomfield, passed away at 4:20 A.M. on Sunday December 30, 2012 at North Woods Commons assisted living facility in Kokomo, Indiana.
Born October 26, 1918 in Newark, Indiana the son of Raymond E. and Pearl D. Casner.
A tobacco and beef cattle farmer in rural Greene County, he was an Army Air Force veteran of WWII serving from 1942 through 1945. He was also a member of the Newark Baptist Church and regularly attended the Worthington Church of Christ.
Survivors include his two sons, Paul V. Casner of Nashville, Tennessee and Bill E. Casner of Kokomo, Indiana; two grandchildren, Claire Casner of Kokomo and Colleen Casner of Nashville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fourty seven years Mildred H. Casner, his parents, one sister Ada Frye and two brothers Wilbert and Lincoln.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday January 3, 2012 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Byron Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
