Patricia Lee Byers 94, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon with her family by her side.

She was born June 24, 1932, to Bert and Lillian (Decker) Shouse in Worthington, Indiana.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great, great grandmother.

She loved being with her kids, eating out and sitting on her porch laughing and enjoying life. She loved working in her flowers and helping on the farm.

After graduation, she married the love of her life, Dallas. They had 63 years of marriage.

Surviving are three children, Darrell (Diana) of Bloomfield, Judy Griffith of Bloomington and Nancy Pittman of Spencer; one sister, Phyllis Payne of Terre Haute; surviving grandchildren are Michelle (Russell) Brown, Niki (Sarah) Goodman, Michelle (Dan) Durham, Johnathan (Mandy) Britton and Lori Lorenz (Brent Bolinger); She has forty-three great grandchildren and twenty-two great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas, grandsons, Aaron Byers and Jeremy Pittman, great, great grandson, Danny Byers, brother, Pete Shouse, son-in-law’s, Mike Griffith and Barney Pittman and a brother-in-law, Don Payne.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bloomfield First Christian Church or the Greene County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield, with Scott Chastain officiating.
