Odessa M. Corbin's Obituary
Odessa M. Corbin, 94, of Solsberry passed away Wednesday May 25, 2016 at McCormick's Creek Rehab & Skilled Nursing Home in Spencer.
Born February 26, 1922 in Solsberry, Indiana the daughter of Roy and Mary (Thompson) Cox.
Odessa had worked at RCA for nine years and at Bloomington Hospitality House, she was a member of the Solsberry United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son Robert Larry Corbin of Solsberry, three grandchildren, Melissa Corbin, Larry Wayne Corbin both of Solsberry and Tammy Hatchett of Nashville, seven great grandchildren, Emily Bock, Samantha Hatchett, Aaron Hatchett, Austin Corbin, Dylan Corbin, Dalton Corbin and Katie Corbin, three great great grandchildren, Ava Johnson, Carlie Corbin and Zoey Corbin.
Odessa was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Corbin on March 27, 1986, one daughter Janice Corbin, three sisters, one brother and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday and 10 A.M. Saturday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, burial will follow at Solsberry Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
