Oaklene Stalcup, 101, of Lyons, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born December 5, 1918 in Lyons, she was the daughter of Hugh and Faye (Hanley) Johnson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Newberry Order of Eastern Star and attended the Lyons First Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include: nieces and nephews, Shelley Bohnert, Jack Johnson, Jill Price, Tim Johnson, Todd Johnson and Diann Puckett; her niece by choice, Emilie Slinkard; and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Claude Hyde, her second husband, Lloyd Stalcup, one son, Larry Hyde, brothers, Dwight and Bill Johnson; one nephew, Rich Johnson and her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Lyons, with Rev. John Gossett officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Larry Hyde Scholarship Fund.
