Monte C. Hash, 60, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday October 4, 2023 at his residence.

Born October 18, 1962 in Linton, Indiana the son of William R. Hash and Marilyn Kay (Yoho) Moody.

Monte was a talented, friendly Sales Associate at Lowes in Bloomington, IN with years of prior experience in operations management, technology, and design. He was a visionary musician, painter, and chef, to name a few of his creative pursuits. Monte created 3-D designs and logos as well as hand drawings for business endeavors. He was a well-loved, self-sufficient man who cared deeply about others and created laughter in any room.

Surviving relatives include his two daughters, Samantha Hash and Kalei Hash; his mother Kay Moody; siblings, Mark (Karen) Hash, Melanie (Randy) Seipel; and last but certainly not least, his canine companion, Cooper. In addition, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Monte was preceded in death by his father, William R. Hash, one brother and his wife Mike and Barbara Hash, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until the hour of Service on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at the Solsberry Methodist Church.

Celebration of Monte's life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Solsberry Methodist Church with Randy Seipel officiating.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Monte's name be given to Monroe County Humane Association.
