Obituary

Mildred M. Luse, 90, of Bloomfield formerly of Salem passed away Sunday August 9, 2026 at her residence.

Born in Salem, Indiana on September 12, 1935 the daughter of Glen and Florence (McCoskey) Garriott.

Mildred has worked at the Meadowview Health Care Center in Salem in several different roles, lastly being the activites director; she attended the Tulip Church of God in Bloomfield and had attended the Salem Christian Fellowship Church also.

Surviving relatives include her husband Paul M. Luse, her four children, Don (Liz) Luse, John (Beverly) Luse, Joe (Julie) Luse, Sarah Herald, her grandchildren, Jenny Medina, Dan (Nicholl) Luse, Jessica (Jon) Cline, Michael (Morgyan) Luse, Megan Herald (Jarrod Rueter), Jed Herald, she has fourteen great grandchildren and one sister, Lucille Tatlock.

Mildred was preceded in death by one infant son Aaron Luse, her sisters, Bonnie Garriott, Virginia Spurgeon, Rosemary Wade and Hazel Hollen, her two brothers, Robert and Harry Garriott and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. on Wednesday at the Tulip Church of God, 1834 E. Tulip Road, Bloomfield, Indiana 47424.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the Tulip Church of God with Rev. Jeff Rockey officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday at the Franklin Cemetery in Salem, Indiana with Brother Bronie Brown officiating.

The family ask any memorial donations in Mildred’s name be given to the Tulip Church of God or Franklin Cemetery.
