Michael Allen Hall, 72, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Redcrest Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born December 9, 1953 in Terre Haute, Indiana he was the son of Charles and Leona (Shake) Hall.

Michael was a tree trimmer for Asplundh. He served his country in the United States Army.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Penny Hall whom he married March 23, 1993; his children, Monica Hughes, Bryan Hughes, Charles Hall and Jeremy Hall; siblings, Jim Hall and Charlotte Hall Opfer (Dave); his grandchildren, Brianna, Mackenzie, Kayla and Alexis; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Erin Raper officiating.

Public visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
