Michel Andrew Calloway, Sr., 68, of Solsberry, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at his residence.

Born September 21, 1957 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Donald Eugene and Gladys (McCormick) Calloway.

Michael was a machinist for Griner's Engineering in Bloomington.

Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Brandy Porter (Michael); one son, Michael Calloway, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ricky Porter, Octavia Porter, Americus Porter, Desiree Calloway and Jonathan Kidd; great grandchildren, Braxton, Chloe, Chase and Mordekai; siblings, Tom Calloway, Steve Calloway, Sharon Smith, Linda Davis and Marsha; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Ann Calloway on December 29, 2008; his 2nd wife, Paulette Faye Calloway on July 14, 2022; siblings, Donald Calloway, Jr. and Becky Pearson and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Raymond New officiating. Interment will follow in Newark Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
