Maxine Todd, 89, of Bedford went home to be with the Lord at 3:30 A.M. Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Born March 13, 1932 in Greene County to Homer and Alverta (Flake) Abrams.

Maxine was a Nursing Assistant at Bloomington Hospital; she was also a homemaker and a member of the 11th Street Pentecostal Faith Assembly Church in Bloomington. Maxine married Ernie Todd on May 14, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2019.

Maxine is survived by her son Robert (Anne) Todd of Bedford; granddaughters April Haskett (Bryce) of Bedford, Rachel Guthrie (Troy) of Ellettsville and Amanda Flynn (Adam) of Bedford. Grandchildren, Luke Haskett, Olivia Stephens, Grace & Eva Haskett, Brandt Guthrie, Coleson, Case, & Caylee Stiles, Nick, Eli, Bella and Knox Flynn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Grace Carmichael, Myrtle Bland, Anna Goad, Dorothy Newman, Esther Norris, Dona Smith and Laura Jones; her brother Amos "Bud" Abrams and granddaughter Abigail Nicole Guthrie.

Maxine is also survived by several nieces and nephews that were like brothers and sisters to her.

The family would like to thank Stonebridge Health Campus Staff and Southern Care Hospice for the loving care of our mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be from 11 A.M. on Tuesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Michael Douglas and Troy Guthrie officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
