Mary Joan Johnson, 82, of Spencer formally of Bloomfield passed away Monday January 9, 2012 at The Residence at McCormick's Creek in Spencer, Indiana.
Born March 21, 1929 in Bloomfield the daughter of Claude and Lucy (Woodall) White.
Mary Joan worked at Crane, she cleaned houses and had a Tupperware route. She was a member of the Bloomfield First Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include her husband Clifford D. Johnson of Spencer,tow step daughters Linda (Leroy) Gentry of Freedom and Jodi (Raymond) Rincon of Houston, Tx, several step grandchildren, one sister Mona Fuller of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Marion R. "Shorty" Ellett, two brothers William White and Joel White and her parents.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. Thursday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope and Rev. Dave Wilde officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
